In My Kitchen{Egg White Bites}

So...these little lovelies have become my newest obsession!
Maybe you already make something like this...I however just discovered how easy and delicious these are to make...and they are the perfect "clean" snack!
If you have never made them before, here is my quick recipe~

✿Egg White Bites✿

Chopped Veggies (your choice) - for these I used Asparagus, green onion and spinach
Egg Substitute ( I use Costco's Kirkland brand)

Spray a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray
Place a tablespoon or so of chopped veggies in the bottom of muffin tin
Pour 1/4 cup egg whites into each cup
Bake @350 for 20 min or until egg is cooked

I love topping mine with a little salsa....delicious!
Enjoy!

Do You Ever??

I haven't done a "Do you ever?" post in awhile (you can read my last one here). I originally was inspired to do these after Tracy Porter started doing them on her blog....I loved the idea!

My friend Pam over at Views from my kitchen sink, did a great "Do you ever?" today, and I was so inspired that I rushed to do the same!

Do you ever....frame an old recipe from someone you love?
This is my Mother-in-law, Jannice's Button Biscuit recipe.
She made these for almost every family dinner we had, my FIL cooked the main course, and Nana made the biscuits. The boys always got to help!
I love that it is in her handwriting, and that it is stained from so much use, even though, she knew the recipe by heart, she still took out the card.
❤I love that it is mine❤

Earth Day!

This picture is from a very cool book that we own Earth From Above

So...today being Earth Day, I thought it would be fun to find out what each of us do to be green.

~Do you use "earth friendly" cleaners?

~Do you recycle?

~Do you take your own bags to the grocery store?

~Do you garden naturally?

~Do you still use paper towels?

There are so many more things...share how you are"going green"!

An Artful way to display my jewelry~

I recently did a little "re-do" with my jewelry.
I had watched a Tracy Porter video, where she used different vessels to hold lots of her jewelry....so I took all my jewelry out of the boring jewelry box....and I found a couple of old silver trays and piled in lots of bracelets...a cool small dress form now holds all of my necklaces ( I love them all piled on top of each other)...and just yesterday I found this cute little silver 3 tier tray to hold all my cocktail rings and dangle some earrings off of...I love how artful and interesting it looks now, and I feel like I am shopping when I am picking out my jewelry!

Need a little COLOR??

....on your body? I LOVE to be tan. I love the way I feel when I am tan, but my days of BAKING in the sun are over. I admit when I am on vacation I do lay in the sun because it feels so good. Of course, as I have gotten older I am much more conscience of using sunsreen and wearing a hat to protect my face.

Here in the Northwest, you could tend to look a little "pastey" ...so this is my "go to" spray tan! I have used quite a few, but I love this one. It really is practically mistake proof, the spray is so fine, and the color gradual. The lastest version has a new spray tip that I think is going to make it even better!

I, of course, do not use spray tan on my face...so to give myself a little color there as well, I love to use a bronzer. I am a big fan of Bare Escentuals and their Warmth is my favorite...a little goes a LONG way, so this jar last a really long time!!

So....if you're feeling like you need a little color, give these a try!
